KILL ALL REDNECK PRICKS: A DOCUMENTARY FILM ABOUT A BAND CALLED KARP (2010)
Low-budget looking doc about KARP that ruled just as much as the band. Got to play a show with them in 93 and they kicked ass. To a certain extent, they were a dirtier, low budget Melvins, and the film feels dirty and low budget, so it fits. (Also, none of the members end up being alt-right adjacent dopes like Buzz Osborne seems to be now.)
Hard to mess this one up. Band was good, there is a good story in there. Band did well despite not really fitting in with their local peer group, musically. Band gets ruined by drug addiction. A few years go by and members start talking about playing together when one dies in a boating accident.
This one hits all the right notes for me. Tells a good story about a good band.
