WORKING CLASS ROCK STAR (2008)

I kinda hated this movie. A bunch of people from really bad 00s bands talking about how hard it is to be in a touring band trying to make it. A couple people from bigger bands dip in here and there (Randy Blythe, Dave Brockie) to talk about how bad the music industry is. But mostly it's people from bands I never want to hear again (Bloodshoteye, Tub Ring) talking about how hard it is to be a working band on the road. Soooo much complaining. One guy was saying that they got so many pre-orders of their new CD, and that was "a good thing and a bad thing." It was bad because it was so much work to pack them up and send them out. He was a humble brag champ.

There is one older guy who pops in at the beginning and the end to give the “real story” about the music industry. Dude is annoying as fuck and thinks he's the smartest guy in the world. There's a running theme about downloading killing the music industry. Tub Ring guy was talking about doing a commercial and how that was keeping him going.

In the end, I was rooting for most of these bands to fail.
