THE DAMNED: DON'T YOU WISH THAT WE WERE DEAD (2015)

damned2.jpg

I don't think I ever really got what The Damned were doing, with their weird costumes and wildly varied musical output. A lot of huh? in terms of musical output. The Rat Scabies v Captain Sensible fighting was fun to watch, though. No talk about the shared member with Culture Club.

Some cool concert footage, and this is pretty well done in terms of a history of the band. The personalities make for good interviews. In terms of docs centered on one band, this does pretty well. However, it did not make me feel like I was missing anything by not owning all their records. This fails to convince me that this band is important.
