COLOR ME OBSESSED: A FILM ABOUT THE REPLACEMENTS (2011)

About 15 minutes into the movie, I'm thinking, "there's something missing and I can't quite put my finger on it.” Then I figured out it was The Replacements. No band members interviewed, no music, doesn't show the album artwork when talking about each album. When the end credits roll, there are a couple black and white photos. That's it.

It was really fucking weird. Like a stalker movie. One of the people interviewed was this guy that grew up on a farm who used to pretend to have conversations with Tommy. Super creepy. When the movie dropped that Bob died, claiming it wasn't drug related, I half expected that they were going to float some theory about farm-dude killing him to have a better chance to hang out with Tommy.

This movie made me uncomfortable.
